On a sheltered terrace or a wall facing away from the weather, yes. On an exposed paving or a pool deck, it needs a textured finish and a sealing regime, and the figure will weather sooner than it will wear out.
On a wall, yes, with a ventilated cavity and a fixing that lets the stone move. On a floor or a path, it is the wrong material for the money, because it is soft, it is slippery when wet, and it costs more to lay than anything else with the same look.
Very little, and less than most people expect. The colour is mineral rather than dye, so it does not fade in the way a printed or stained surface does. What sunlight does is warm the surface and dry it faster, which matters more for the sealant than for the stone.
As a wall, yes. As a courtyard floor, it is the wrong answer for the money — it is soft, it is slippery when wet, and it costs more to lay and more to maintain than anything else with the same wood look.
