A wall panel is cut from one slab, so the grain continues across the wall instead of restarting at every joint. On the dark coffee board that continuity is the whole point: the lines run the length of the wall in even steps, which is what a timber-clad wall does and what a stone wall usually does not.
Full-height panels come from the 2400 × 1600 mm slab. A wall wider than that is book-matched from two, and the match is chosen by the buyer rather than by us.
Thickness is 18 mm or 20 mm, and 12 mm is made to order for a substrate that cannot take more. Flatness tolerance ±0.3 mm, diagonal ±1 mm.
