Dark Coffee Marble Flooring

A floor is the one job where the grain direction is the buyer's decision, and the same slab laid along the grain reads as boards while the same slab laid across it reads as a stone floor. The dark coffee board at 600 × 1200 mm laid along the grain is the version that most people mean when they say they want a stone floor that looks like wood.

The five formats are cut from the same slab so the figure runs through the floor rather than repeating from a stock sheet. 10 mm and 12 mm are the thicknesses that tile; 20 mm is where a thicker edge is wanted.

One 20-foot container holds roughly 950 m² at 10 mm and roughly 450 m² at 20 mm. The thickness decides the order, not the area.
